Danglefoot Polish - Baby Trio

Hi everyone! It's Friday wahoo! I have definitely got that Friday feeling today as I am off home to begin my 21st birthday celebrations! My actual birthday is on Wednesday but I've got friends and family things happening this weekend, including an afternoon tea party. Yep, I'm proper adulting haha! Anyway, not only I am excited about birthday stuff, today is a very special day... Two years ago today my first Danglefoot Polishes arrived in the mail! I was going to re-swatch those very first polishes but as I have a little pile of Danglies I haven't used yet I figured some newbies would be better. Read on to see what I've chosen!

If you follow Danglefoot Polish then you will probably know that Hayley recently had her third little boy and shut the shop for maternity leave. After having Levi she decided to create a trio of polishes for her boys and these beauties are the results! First we have 'Eat, Sleep, Poop, Repeat', a red/orange crelly with holo and blue chrome flakies. This has a lovely formula, not too thick or thin, making for easy application. I really love the shade of this, it's something very different! Swatch shows two coats with topcoat.

The second I have to show you is 'Yummy Mummy' a super pretty pale pink crelly with multichrome flakes and scattered holo. I thought this was going to be too pale for me and look really silly but actually...I love it!! Like, a lot. I'm even considering wearing it for the weekend. The formula for this one was thinner than the first and I had some minor cuticle flooding but nothing a little clean up couldn't fix. Swatch shows three coats with topcoat.

The final polish is named after the new little man himself. This is 'Levi' a bright blue crelly with lots of rainbow multichrome flakies. I think this was the one I was most excited about and it definitely didn't disappoint! I just can't resist anything with flakies, never mind rainbow ones! The formula of this was similar to the first so it was great to apply. Swatch shows two coats with topcoat.

I think it's safe to say Hayley has done it again! Bar all three having flakies, this is a fab trio with some wonderful variety and unique colours. The shades will be great for all four seasons and it's just such a lovely tribute for Hayley's boys. These are still available now from Danglefoot Polish for a great price of £18. At the moment they are only available as a set but I believe in the future they will also be available to buy individually.

All that's left to add is a big thank you to Hayley for being a top sparkle supplier for me over the last two years! My bank account may be empty but my helmer drawer is full and I love every single one. I'm so happy to see your family growing and glad I get to call you one of my closest friends. All the love.

Barry M - Gold Rush & Holographic Lights

Hello hello hello! Apologies once again for my lack of blog posts and general social media presence. It has been rather crazy lately and I haven't had much of a chance to do nails at all. All my nail art stuff is still in bags/boxes from when I moved house! I really want to continue blogging so hopefully this will be the start of getting back into it. Today I have some rather overdue swatches from Barry M to share! Last summer Barry M released the Molten Metals (if you want a laugh you can see my old swatches of those here), four polishes with a metallic finish and a whole year later they have finally added to that collection! There are five new Molten Metals in total, however, I only picked up two of the four for a few reasons. 1. I'm a poor student, 2. I have very similar polishes to the black and blue additions, 3. The pinky/rose gold is a re-release of the Superdrug Limited Edition polish 'Twinkle Twinkle'. I personally think it's a bit cheeky of them to release the same polish, especially when it was supposed to be a limited edition shade but hey, they've done it. Anyway, let's take a look at the swatches for the two I did buy shall we?

Sparklea Nail Polish - Moana Collection in Collaboration with Me!

*Press Sample*

Hi everybody, today I'm going to be sharing possibly the most exciting blog post I've ever written! As you may have seen on Instagram, I've been sharing swatches of a new collection from Sparklea Nail Polish. Not only is it a beautiful new collection, it's a beautiful new collection I've collaborated on! A few months ago my very good friend and fab polish maker Lea asked if I wanted to do a Moana collection with her due to our shared obsession of the film and of course the only answer to that question was "YES!". We starting coming up with some ideas and I went away and created a mood board for each polish which was super fun and apparently really helpful for Lea. We settled on a collection of six and I am so so pleased with how they've turned out! There are Moana spoilers ahead so if you haven't seen the film yet, 1. Go watch it. Like right now. and 2. Just look at the pretty pictures and don't read the words. I can promise these polishes are all amazing.

Ard As Nails - Summer Creme Polishes

*Press Sample*

Hello hello! I'm rubbish I know... I thought I'd got this whole blogging thing sorted again but nope. It has been yet another crazy month as I started a part time job alongside my placement resulting in hardly any free time anddd this weekend my boyfriend moved to Plymouth! It's going to be so nice to have him in the same city rather than two hours away, even if it is only until September. Anyway, I may be excited about that but I have polish to talk about! I was sent some more beautiful creme polishes by Kat from Ard As Nails, this time in some lovely summery colours. Read on to find out more!

Sparklea Nail Polish - The Carnival Collection

Well ladies and gents, today is a very special day. This afternoon I'm starting my new job (part-time) which I'm both excited and nervous about as I'm sure is normal. I am looking forward to having a bit of extra money to spend though! However, not only am I starting a new job, this blog post is my 100th post! I can't believe it, I've sat down and written about nails 100 times. In celebration of this milestone, I wanted something exciting to share so I settled on the newest collection from my bff Lea, the creator of Sparklea Nail Polish.

Born Pretty Store - Moonlight Water Decals Review

*Press Sample*

Evening all! Today I have a rather unseasonal mani to share with you but hey, who cares! A little while ago I received another set of goodies from Born Pretty Store (you can read my first review for them here) but because I've been so busy, I've only just got round to trying them out. This post is all about some lovely little moon water decals which feature the different phases of the moon. I've seen a few mani's like these on Instagram so wanted to have a go myself, even if I wasn't going to be hand painting it!

Bestie Twin Nails with A Certain Becca Nails

Hello everybody! Apologies for my absence yet again, it's been a crazy time and I've had a lot going on. For the first time in ages I've also felt a bit unmotivated to do nails. Never fear, I'm slowly working my way back and today I have something very exciting! Months ago me and one of my favourite people aka Becca from A Certain Becca Nails were talking and decided to do a twin mani. It's taken us a while but we got there eventually! I think I'm right in saying I encouraged Becca to buy the stamping plate we used so that's why we settled on this mani. I guess we should take a look at we came up with, yippee!
